Route of Petrified Forest

Skala Eressos - Sigri 

We start in the morning from Skala Eressos towards the direction of graphic Sigri.

There we will visit the only museum of natural history in which we will travel 20,000,000 years in the past, where a supernatural eruption created what we today call the 'Sigri Fossil Forest'.

After our tour of the museum we will taste local seafood at local taverns as well as drinks with background the island of Nisopi.

On our return to Eressos we will stop at Moni Ypsilou to admire the monastery and the magnificent panoramic view to Aegean Sea.
